JOPLIN, Mo. — Structure fire call at 9:10 a.m. Saturday morning to 2431 E Rolla in the Royal Heights Neighborhood.
Joplin Fire responded emergency with Engine 3, Battalion 1, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, Engine 2, Engine 4.
Joplin Police assisted with traffic control and METS ambulance arrived to assist.

Fire was knocked down quickly and was out in minutes so as it did not spread throughout the one-story residence.
Joplin Fire tell us that no one was located inside the structure, no firefighters were injured.
No one was home at the time of the fire however firefighters rescued the family cat from the home.
Crews remained on the scene investigating and clearing the house of smoke as Joplin Fire Marshal arrived for investigation about 10:30 a.m.
