While we start October off on a quiet and warm note, we will be keeping an eye on two things by the end of the week. First, a front stalled northwest of us wants to work closer to us by Friday. Second, we’ll have a vigorous upper-level trough set up in the western United States by this coming weekend as well. Mother Road Marathon Spans Three States
Hundreds took part in a 23 mile race down historic Route 66 today. Twelveone Group hosted the Mother Road Marathon. The race spans three states, starting in Commerce, OK and ending in Joplin, MO. There was also the option for a 13 mile long half marathon, which started in Baxter Springs, KS.
