Angry residents gathered outside their damaged homes in Kendricktown Thursday after a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy delivered notices ordering them to call the county to inspect their homes before they could start rebuilding. Residents are invited to the next Jasper County Commission meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Jasper County Courthouse to hear more on this order and why the county has to inspect their homes.
