Welfare check leading to pursuit in Crawford County

On March 31, 2017 at 10:43 am, Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies were made aware of a subject that allegedly made suicidal comments to a Mental Health Professional at Crawford County Mental Health’s (CRMH) office in Pittsburg, KS. CRMH staff advised that the subject left in his vehicle and that he was armed with a handgun. Joplin Area Catholic Schools Easter Egg Hunt – April 1st

Please join us at St. Mary’s School at 3025 S. Central City Road in Joplin this Saturday, April 1st for our 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children ages 3, 4, and 5 will be involved in the hunt. City names Hertzberg as new Public Works Director

Joplin City Manager Sam Anselm announced today the promotion of David Hertzberg to Public Works Director. Most recently, Hertzberg served as the Capital Improvements Project Manager for the City and held this position for the past two years.  Prior to that, he worked in Community Development focusing on disaster recovery.
