Our area still needs all the rain that we can get. While it was nice to see rain over the past weekend, we’re still behind by about 9 inches for the year. Unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn’t want to cooperate with us over the next 5 days. Our area looks to stay dry while the bulk of the expected rain will be confined from the Gulf Coast up the Appalachian Mountains into the northeastern United States. With a quiet weather pattern working back in for Wednesday, that will mean the rain and t-storm chances will have to leave us for a little while. At least that keeps the threat of strong to severe t-storms out of here. Any severe threat outlined for Wednesday will be off to our west, north and northeast.
