39-year-old David Matthew DeClue of Columbus, KS appeared in court this afternoon.  He’s charged with rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.  Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant at his home.  They allege that DeClue engaged in sexual acts with a minor child in 2014 to 2015.  The court set his bond at $100,000 cash or professional surety with conditions including no contact with minors.
