Amid a deluge of criticism over a new law that some see as license to discriminate against gay people, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence today said, “We will clarify this in the days ahead and will fix this and move forward.” Pence said the Religious Freedom Restoration Act was not aimed at LGBT people, though many see it that way.

Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that an oncologist who operated a clinic in Joplin, Mo., pleaded guilty in federal court today to dispensing foreign, misbranded drugs to his cancer patients.Robert L.
