Wanted Kansas Fugitive captured in Nevada, Mo.

NEVADA, Mo. — Friday evening the Nevada Police Dept release details regarding the apprehension of a Kansas Wanted Fugitive.

Information developed in an ongoing investigation of the Bourbon County Kansas Sheriff’s office and the Bates County Missouri Sheriff’s office that a wanted man was in the Nevada city limits.

Tactical SWAT units served a search warrant at the residence where the wanted subject was thought to be located.

As officers arrived the male subject attempted to hide in a crawl space. However he was taken into custody without incident.

Additional drug possession charges are anticipated as Nevada Police K9 Edo located methamphetamine after the male was taken into custody.
