Lonnie was born May 9, 1956 in Miami, OK to Lonnie G. and Erma (Barnes) Baker, Sr. He graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1975 and had lived in the Commerce and Miami area all his life. He was a farmer and had worked for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, OK.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Baker.
Survivors include 1 son, Justin Baker of Miami, OK, 1 daughter, Lisa Merrill of Joplin, MO, his father, Lonnie G. Baker, Sr. of Miami, OK, 2 sisters, Sherri Kirtley of Commerce, OK and Sandy Vestal of Tulsa, OK and 4 grandchildren, Kane Merrill, Ayla Merrill, Mason Baker and Kaleigh Baker.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK with Mickey Rogers officiating. John Hart, A.J. Epperson, Craig Stoops, Nick Mackenson, Juan Padron and Caden Walker will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
