Harold “Rocky” Allen Cramer

Harold “Rocky” Allen Cramer passed from this world on Tuesday December 28th, 2021. Rocky had been a Grand Lake resident for the past 10 years, and prior to that a lifelong resident of Baxter Springs, KS. Rocky was born on November 2nd, 1950, to Ruby and Clarence Cramer, and was the last of six children.

Rocky was always a kind, loving, and gentle man who greeted everyone with a smile. He would welcome anyone to sit down and have a cup of coffee and a conversation with him. He was a hard worker and began working at the age of 14 for his brother Norman at his market and began learning the skills to become a butcher which would be a career he enjoyed for 21 years at Cramer’s Meats, and later he worked for Farmers Chemical for another 15 years.

Rocky met and married the love of his life Pearl Marie Maglaughlin on January 30th, 1969. They built a beautiful life together that they enjoyed very much and were blessed with three children Bille Jo, Rusty, and Ashley. Rocky loved spending time with his family making memories. He also enjoyed gardening, yard work, riding his Harley, watching Hallmark movies, fishing, and tinkering.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Clarence Cramer, his wife Pearl Marie Cramer, his brothers Joe Cramer, Jim Cramer, Norman Cramer, and his sister Beulah Gaston. Rocky is survived by his sister Phyllis Brown, his children Bille Jo, (Jody) Adams, Rusty, (Amy) Cramer, Ashley Coulson, fiancé (Josh Fanning). Also, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; grandchildren include Kody Adams, Luke Cramer, (wife Madison Kienzle), Ashley Blankinship, (husband Matt Jones), Ashton Cramer, Dawson Adams, Carson Cramer, and Emersyn Coulson. Great grandchildren include Daley Cramer, Beckett Adams, and Nolan Gibson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Pastor Wes Davis will officiate the services. Rocky has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation. Condolences may be expressed at: derfeltfuneralhomes.com along with details for his service.
