I hope your week is going great and most likely you have a short work week. Heading into the 6 week stretch that we call the holiday season. They come faster and faster each year. Our weather for the holiday this week looks chilly but okay. However, thunderstorm chances on Wednesday. Lets look at Wednesday.
Clouds increase through the morning. By afternoon, just good old cloudy skies. However, beside breezy temperatures look pretty good. Chances for showers popping up mainly after 5pm. Eventually we will have showers and thunderstorms, especially along and south of I-44.
I think most of these will be showers with a few embedded thunderstorms. However, nothing to strong or severe. Most of the rain will be out by Thursday morning. Also colder temperatures working in with a cold front. Here is Thursday morning.
We will struggle to warm up on Thanksgiving, but it will be dry. A great day to stay inside, eat and watch football.
Remember the winter forecast will be next Thursday night. We are in a little bit of a calmer part of the pattern, but I have most of the winter forecast put together. I am looking forward to the forecast. Long range forecast is below.

November 30th-December 4th: Staying mild for the rest of the week. Dry until rain chances return for Friday and Saturday.
December 5th-11th: We’ll start with a chilly Sunday and a mild Monday. A system will bring rain chances for Monday and force us to turn cold for Tuesday. Staying active with rain chances Wednesday through Friday and showers for Saturday. Mild Wednesday through Friday before we turn cooler Saturday.
December 12th-18th: Cold for Sunday before we see cool air return Monday. Mild Tuesday through Thursday before we turn cooler again for Friday and Saturday. We’ll watch for slight rain chances Thursday.
December 19th-25th: Mild for Sunday and Monday before cooler air returns for Tuesday and Wednesday. Briefly mild for Thursday before we turn cold for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We’ll watch for rain chances Sunday and Monday to start the week. Rain chances on Thursday will switch to snow chances for Christmas Eve and snow showers for Christmas Day.
