Marjorie Fae Long

Marjorie Fae Long, 89, a resident of Afton, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Hillcrest Claremore. Mrs. Long was born on April 20, 1933 in Marland, Oklahoma to Elmer H. and Elva Cleo (Griffith) Dugan. Mrs. Long was a longtime pastry cook at Afton Public Schools for eighteen years. If she was home or at her daughters, she could most usually be seen with one or more dogs in her lap. She was an animal lover. Mrs. Long was preceded in passing by her parents Elmer and Elva Dugan, her husband Marvin Long Jr., sons Danny Mosttler and Tommy Shepherd, along with her brothers and sisters Danny Ray Dugan, Barbara Mae Coffman, Carol Jean Dugan, Georgia Ann Johnson, Roy Dean Dugan, and Francis Marion Dugan.
Survivors include her daughter Connie McMillan of Claremore, Oklahoma, and a son Steve Mosttler of Oregon along with twenty-eight grand and great grandchildren, her nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Cleora Community Church in Cleora, with Pastor Ben officiating. Private Interment will take place at Sixkiller Cemetery. Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
