Roberta Jane Sillivan-Yeargain

Roberta Jane Sillivan-Yeargain, 74, went home to be with the Lord on November 8th in Springfield, Missouri.

Roberta was born on August 5, 1947 to Robert Sillivan and Dorothy Sillivan (Sapp) in Miami, OK. Her family lived in Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois in her early life. She graduated high school from Morrisville, MO in 1965. She met David Rea in Alton, IL and the were married on July 3, 1970. They had three children: Kerry, Kelly and Kraig.

After her father passed away in 1992, Roberta made the decision to return to be with her mother in Miami, OK. There, she met her long time friend Gary Yeargain and they were married on December 6, 1997. Her mother passed away in 1999. Roberta continued to reside in Miami for the remainder of her life.

Roberta was a firm believer in her faith and active in her church. She was on the worship team playing accordion. She would attend church services as often as possible. She had a love for children and enjoyed nurturing them in childcare positions. Though she was a mother, wife and eventually a grandmother, she would want to be known most as a Child of God.

Roberta is preceded in death by her father, Robert, and mother, Dorothy. She is survived by her husband Gary; a brother Thomas (Hope); three children Kerry (Jennifer), Kelly (Patrick) and Kraig (Mandi); and five grandchildren Edward, Emma, Erik, Leah, and Slayten.
