James Francis Infield

James Francis Infield, 80, of Bernice, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born on July 16, 1940 in Afton, Oklahoma to Alvin and Vera (Woody) Infield. James was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at Shangri-La as a Golf Course Superintentent. Mr. Infield was a cowboy and enjoyed horses when he was younger, he also loved baseball and his Dallas Cowboys. James was preceded in passing by his parents, his brother Buddy and sister Colleen.

Survivors include Sherry Botts and her husband Tom of Miami, Cheryl Infield of Enid, Oklahoma and James Phelps of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his grand children Grace Fowler, Jevin Fowler, Cory Ivey, Brittany Botts and Karen Phelps, along with his great grandchildren Carmen Callahan, Caden Callahan, Brent Ivey, Cory Lane Ivey, Aries Moyer, Montana Moyer, Rylee Ivey and Nayela Phelps.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
