Billie C. Millhollin

Billie C. Millhollin, 66, Wyandotte, OK, passed away April 6, 2021 at his home in rural Wyandotte following an illness.

Billie Charles Millhollin was born February 8, 1955 in Loveland, CO the son of Jasper C. and Maudie Elizabeth (Turner) Millhollin. Billie was a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. He had worked for the tribe for 35 years. He served as 2nd Chief from 1998 to 2001. Billie served on many committee’s including the Pow Wow committee and the Constitution Committee. Billie loved to deer hunt being outside and enjoying nature. He loved spending time with his grandchildren spoiling and teasing them.

Billie Millhollin married Velma Splain January 18, 1975 in Loveland, CO and she survives.
Additional survivors included his children; Rebecca Branham (Billy) and Billie Jo Long (Rob) all of Wyandotte, OK; siblings, Debbie Scribner (Tony), Wyandotte, OK, Calvin Millhollin (Janice), Commerce, OK, James Millhollin, State of Oklahoma and Mark Millhollin (Kari), Wyandotte,OK; grandchildren, Evelyn King (Joseph Nelson), Jasper King, Maddie Branham, Abigail Long, Gracie Branham, Olivia Long and Robert Long Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nova Nelson and Jeremiah Nelson and one on the way and host of friends and family.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Maudie Millhollin, one son Jasper Daniel Millhollin and one grandson, Zachary Isiah Long.

The body will lie in state at the Eastern Shawnee Cultural Building (AOA) 127 Oneida St. Wyandotte, OK from 1:00pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 until 12:00pm, Friday, April 9, 2021. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM, Friday, April 9, 2021 the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery with Shawn King and Evelyn King performing Indian rites.
