For 24 consecutive years, the Neosho National Fish Hatchery has invited children from across the region to its annual Kids Fishing Derby. U.S. Rep. Billy Long, R-Springfield, will be on hand this morning to kick off the daylong event for children ages 7 through 12 at 520 E. Park St. The first session runs from 9 to 11 a.m., the second from 1 to 3 p.m.
