Sarah Burton now missing 4 years from Joplin; FBI $5,000 reward still stands

JOPLIN, Mo. – Over the weekend marked 4 years since the disappearance of Sarah Burton, who was 29 when she was reported missing from Joplin, Mo.

Last seen on July 16, 2018, in the vicinity of 10th Street and Rex Avenue in Joplin, Missouri. Sarah was reported missing on July 20, 2018, by her mother. There have been no reported sightings and/or contacts from Sarah since her disappearance.” – FBI, KANSAS CITY FIELD OFFICE

Over the years multiple agencies and jurisdictions have been involved in the investigation. The FBI is still offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the disappearance of Sarah Burton.

The Joplin Police Department released a statement echoing their continued investigation. “We are again asking for public assistance in the case. Burton is described as 5”07, 160 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen on foot in the area of 10th and Rex on July 16, 2018 and reported missing to JPD on July 20, 2018. Detectives with our department have conducted numerous interviews and followed up on leads in Joplin, Jasper County, Newton County, Oklahoma and Kansas in this case. There are no known vehicles that Burton has access to. We are concerned for the safety and wellbeing of Burton and ask anyone that has any information to contact us.”

Today marks third anniversary of Sarah Burton’s disappearance

JOPLIN, Mo. – Joplin police renew the call for the public’s help in finding 31-year-old Sarah Burton. Burton went missing three years ago on July 16, 2018.

Burton is described as 5”07, 160 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen on foot in the area of 10th and Rex. Detectives have conducted numerous interviews and followed up on leads in Joplin, Jasper County, Newton County, Oklahoma, and Kansas in this case.

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin police department is once again asking for the public’s help in finding Sarah Burton. Monday marks her 31st birthday.

Sarah E. Burton went missing on July 16, 2018. She was last seen walking in the area of 10th and Rex. Burton’s described as 5’7, 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police conduct another targeted search for missing Sarah Burton. Detectives with the JPD have conducted interviews and followed up on leads in Joplin, Jasper County, Newton County, Oklahoma and Kansas. There are no known vehicles Burton has access to.
