Man wanted facing more than 10 Felony charges

MONETT, Mo. (KOAM 7/FOX 14) Barry-Lawrence Crime Stoppers release details regarding a wanted man in the region facing more than 10 Felony charges.

Andrew Jonathan Madewell, 18, of Monett, Mo. is wanted for the following:

  • Tampering With a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree/ D- Felony
  • Stealing- Firearm/Explosive Weapon/ Ammonium Nitrate/ D-Felony
  • Resisting/ Interfering With Arrest for a Felony/ E- Felony
  • Stealing- D- Felony x 3
  • Resisting/ Interfering With Arrest for a Felony/ E- Felony
  • Stealing- Physically Take Property/ D- Felony
  • Resisting Arrest/ Detention/ Stop by Fleeing creating a substantial risk of Serious Injury or Death/ D- Felony
  • Burglary in the First Degree/ B- Felony
  • Stealing- Motor Vehicle/Watercraft/ Aircraft/ D- Felony
  • Stealing- Firearm/ Explosive Weapon/ Ammonium Nitrate/ D- Felony
  • Stealing- Misdemeanor -A
  • Failure To Appear- No Driver’s License- Misdemeanor

Most warrants are Capias, meaning no bond. The individual must face a judge.

Madewell is also a suspect in several other crimes that have occurred in the area and further charges are pending.

The News To Know: authorities charge a Monett man with shooting his father and a Coffeyville man learns his fate in a child sex case

MONETT, Mo. – Michael Creekmore of Monett is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action. Officers got the call for shots fired on Monday afternoon. They found 50-year-old Robert Creekmore lying in the road with several gunshot wounds. Offices say Michael told them he had “emptied his gun” into his father after Robert attacked him. INDEPENDENCE, Ks. – 49-year-old David Hudnall of Coffeyville is sentenced for one count of attempted rape of a female child. In a hearing held last year, the victim testified that Hudnall coerced her into sex by claiming to be a “Doctor Susan”. Hudnall was sentenced to more than 12 years in state prison, but was credited for time already spent in prison. He will now serve more than nine years. Click here to read more about this story. LABETTE COUNTY, Ks. – Authorities in Mound Valley, Kansas released the name of a man found dead after a weekend house fire. Labette County deputies received a call about the fire just before midnight Saturday night. They arrived to find both the Mound valley and Altamont rural fire departments putting out a fire at 110 East Sixth street. Firefighters discovered a body in one of the bedrooms. The victim has now been identified as 55-year-old Michael Frost. According to the Labette County sheriff, Frost’s body was taken for autopsy. The cause of fire is still under investigation. CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ks. -The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says the death of a Crawford County woman is now a homicide investigation. A KBI release revealed a woman discovered the body of her friend. 80-year-old Geneva Ham was found dead inside her own home. After an autopsy, officials ruled the death a homicide. It shows a video clip of a man with a cigarette in his mouth, walk onto a porch, grab the recently delivered boxes. Then walk off into the distance.
