The Jasper County Health Department is keeping tabs on 10 to 12 people who work at a turkey farm near Asbury after an announcement on Sunday by the Missouri Department of Agriculture that the flock at the farm had been infected with avian influenza.

Two French Olympians and a record-setting sailor were among the 10 people killed when their helicopters collided in Argentina for filming of a reality TV show, AP reported. Those killed were heading to an area for filming of “Dropped,” a French show. The Olympians killed were Camille Muffat, a three-time medalist swimmer at the 2012 Olympics, and Alexis Vastine, a boxer who medaled at the 2008 Games.

An 18-month-old girl survived 14 hours upside down in a car that had plunged into a river in Utah, police said. The baby wasn’t doing well when rescuers got there, but she is in good condition now, doctors said. Police believe the mom, who died in the crash, somehow crashed into a frigid river, but the baby wasn’t in the water and miraculously survived until a fisherman spotted the car.
