Janice Faye Crawhorn, age 83, formerly of Smiths Grove, KY, was born on April 24, 1939, in Barren County, Kentucky to Harry Millard and Willie Ann (Brown) Sturdivant, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at her home in Nevada following a lengthy illness.

Janice was united in marriage to Robert Donald Blair on March 15, 1956, and he preceded her in death on April 21, 1990. She married Brady E. Crawhorn on November 23, 2002, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2005.

Janice (Faye) grew up in Smiths Grove, Kentucky. She lived most of her adult life in Indianapolis, Indiana, and later in life moved back to Smiths Grove. Janice has a big heart. She was a caregiver to several family members throughout the years. She was a homemaker that loved to cook, can foods, and garden. Janice loved and cherished her family and her grandchildren. She also looked forward to her daily phone calls with her sister Wanda.

Survivors include three children, two daughters, Lisa A Eador (Martin Eador), Nevada, MO, and Tammy M. Simmons (Gary Simmons), Bowling Green, KY, and one son, Gregory T. Sears (Becky Sears), Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, Melissa Hemingway (Daren Hemingway), Indianapolis, IN, Christina Blair, Indianapolis, IN, Christopher Eador (Heather Eador), Nevada, MO, Justin Simmons, Bowling Green, KY, and Nikki Simmons, Bowling Green, KY; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Craig, Knightstown, IN, and Flossie Elkins, Smiths Grove, KY; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Francis Sturdivant; two brothers, Todd Sturdivant, and Leon Sturdivant; one son, Mark A. Blair; and one daughter-in-law, Deborah Simpson.

Family graveside services will be held at a later date at Shiloh Cemetery in Smiths Grove, KY.
