John Brandon Stewart

John “Brandon” Stewart passed from this life on December 2, 2022 in Miami, OK. Brandon was born July 21, 1971, in Rogers, Arkansas to LeeAnna (Melvin) Goza and Ricky Lee Stewart. Brandon married Shanen Krewson Stewart on August 27, 1999 and they made their home in Oologah, OK for 22 years.
Brandon is survived by his parents, LeeAnna and Wayne Goza, his 3 children, Colton Edward Wilburn/Goza, Jordan Paige Krewson and John Cameron Stewart, 2 grandchildren, Tucker Ray and Brooklyn Willow and all of Fairland, 2 sisters, Maycee Goza of Miami and Michelle Hollenback of Jay, OK. Also, several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
For the past 7 months, Brandon stayed at his parents’ home in Miami with his sister, Michelle by his side. They had a very special bond and if you knew Brandon, you knew that he was Michelle’s “biggest fan”.
In his younger years he attended Commerce Public Schools until moving to Miami in the 7th grade where he met his lifelong best friends, Roy “Bee” Wilson and Todd Bailey. Brandon graduated from Miami, OK with the legendary class of 1989.
Brandon worked for O’Conner Company, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK for many years. He absolutely loved his job and had made many friends that he considered family, including Kyle McDaniel. He was devastated when he could no longer work.
Brandon had recently become a member of the Elks Lodge in Miami, where he enjoyed going on Thursday nights to watch his friends play darts. Brandon was an avid dart player for many years where he traveled to many tournaments. It brought him great joy to watch. Brandon also liked watching car shows and collecting baseball and Pokeman cards.
Brandon’s wished were to be cremated. There will be a memorial service at the Elk’s Lodge in Miami, OK at a later date. More information will be available soon.

Cremation services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
