OSWEGO, Kan. – It may seem like a joke, but the owner says it’s not. Someone has stolen a Santa statue in Oswego, Kansas.
KOAM’s Segun Bamidele headed that way on Wednesday for the story.
Community members came together at the park with Christmas decorations, getting it ready for an upcoming event. And it was, until Sunday when it was discovered Santa was missing.
“He’s a display, an individual display that my art gallery did,” says Sara Lytle, the owner of the statue. Residents decorate the park for an annual event.
Lytle says the community is lending a hand, looking for Santa. It weighs about 100 pounds and is 4 feet tall.
