Oreland Lee Reece of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, November 28, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 63.
Oreland was born October 15, 1959 in Gravette, AR to James Lee and Shirley Maxine (Norris) Reece. He had lived in the Miami area all his life. He graduated from Miami High School Class of 1977 and was warehouse manager for the Inter – Tribal Council Food Distribution. Oreland was a member of Christian Faith Outreach in Commerce, OK.
He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild Trey Bonham, his father James Lee Reece, 3 brothers, James Reece, John Reece and Jerry Reece and 2 sisters, Sheila Skinner and Kim Edwards.
Survivors include his wife Carla (Mercer) Reece of the home, 1 son, Joshua Reece and wife Crystal of Yukon, OK, 2 daughters, Amber Bonham and husband Brian of Commerce, OK and Skye Reece of McCloud, OK, his mother, Shirley Reece of Quapaw, OK and 5 grandchildren, Braden Bonham, Seth Bonham, Jaidyn Reece, Autumn Reece and Klayton Nowlin.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Donnie Williams will officiate. Interment will be in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, SE of Miami, OK. Nathan Cook, Marty Cook, Nick Cook, Matt Cook, Robbie Skinner and Kyler Reece will serve as pallbearers. Grandchildren and Darrell Williams, Jerry Leonard and Clint Kissee will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
