Leanna Janette Mustain of Commerce, OK passed from this life Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home. She was 84.

Leanna was born May 2, 1938 in Quapaw, OK to Robert and Grace Irene (Graham) Kimerer. She had lived in the Wyandotte and Commerce area all her life. Leanna graduated from Wyandotte High School class of 1956. She attended N.E.O. A & M College in Miami and was a Norse Star, graduating with her Associate’s Degree. She then attended and graduated from Pittsburg State with a Bachelor’s in Education. She was a Chemistry and Biology Teacher at Commerce Public Schools for 27 years and was a member of Cardin Baptist Church.

Leanna was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Joe Kimerer.

Survivors include 2 sons, Dan Swadley of Wyandotte, OK and Don Swadley and wife Tracie of Springdale, AR, 1 daughter, Jennifer Fenton and husband Kevin of Stigler, OK, 10 grandchildren, Jessica Swadley, Jordan Swadley, Adison Craig, Kristie Rains, Reagan Rhodes, Luke Fenton, Grant Fenton, Rye Fenton, Gracie Fenton and Hank Fenton and 2 great grandchildren, Jillian Swadley and Emmett Fenton.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, OK. Interment will be in Seneca Cemetery in Seneca, MO. Jordan Swadley, Reagan Rhodes, Luke Fenton, Grant Fenton, Rye Fenton and Hank Fenton will serve as pallbearers. Neil Burnside, Denzil Arms and Bobby Arms will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Commerce, OK.
