Jodanna Denise Freeman

Jodana Denise Freeman, 43, a resident of Northeastern Oklahoma passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Jodana was born on November 28, 1978 in Miami, Oklahoma to Rodney Freeman and Karen Johnston (Bryant). Jodana was proud to be a homemaker and a mother to three beautiful daughters. She was always known to be a crafty person and even made a chair out of an old tire. She was an animal lover and will be missed by her dog Angel, who was her best friend. She enjoyed being outside with her plants or fishing when she got the chance. She will always be remembered for her stubborn but loving ways. Her smile and laugh were always very contagious and she always had the best advice for her daughters. Last but not least, she will always be remembered for her love for her family. Preceding Jodana in passing is her father, Rodney Freeman, mother, Karen Johnston, her grandmother, Nola Jo Bryant.
Those left to share the memory of Ms. Freeman are her daughters, Meranda Cox, Jade Cox, and Emily Cox all of Grove, Oklahoma, her sisters, Angela Freeman of Baxter Springs, Kansas, and Rebecca Ernst and her husband David of Columbus, Kansas as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service to help with the funeral expenses.
Ms. Freeman has been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.
