Nadine Isgett, 87, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Carthage, Missouri. Nadine was born December 4, 1934, in Sumter, South Carolina to Reginald G. Mims and Nada Chubb. She worked at Taco Sabroso in Carthage, Missouri for a time. Nadine also managed a Tastee Freeze for her brother in South Carolina. She attended Central Christian Center in Joplin, Missouri and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2590 Women’s Auxiliary for more than 20 years.
Nadine was united in marriage to Marshall Isgett in Charleston, South Carolina; he preceded her in death September 28, 2005.
Nadine is survived by six children, Joseph Nettles of Joplin, Missouri, Elane Trexler of Carthage, Missouri, Wanda Trevino (Noe) of Carthage, Missouri, Cindy Heavin (Erick), Danny Nettles (Una and her children, Kristal and Terry) of Joplin, Missouri, and Melinda Blosser (Robert) of Carthage, Missouri; two step-children, Ivan Isgett and Sue Bergland (Sue’s children, Cody and Shanon); six grandchildren, Malisa Nettles, Rodney King, Marie King, Travis King, Brandon Rich, and Brittany McCarley; fourteen great grandchildren, Allie, Katie, Kyle, Mathew, Isac, Alexis, Nichole, Johnathan, Reece, Riley, Braxdon, Ethan, Alex, and Ozzie; two great-great grandchildren, Raelynn and Colton; two brothers, Gerald J. Mims and Reginald “R.G.” Mims, Jr.; and four sisters, Doris Moon, Linda Gilpin (Larry), Judy Peterson, and Deanna Burns (Nick).
Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Isgett; her parents, Reginald and Nada Mims; a sister, Mary Anne Lyman; and a great grandson, Rush.

Services will be held 2:00 pm. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022. Burial will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri.
