Albert Periman

Albert Periman passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 peacefully in Parkville, Missouri, in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bill Lantz. He was born on February 2, 1933, in Milo, Missouri, to Cecil Periman and Veora Shouse Periman.

Albert grew up on a farm in Barton County, near Montevallo, Missouri. Some of his hobbies were going to breakfast at diners, drinking coffee and giving the waitresses a hard time, driving along the Missouri River talking about fishing, praying and reading his Bible, and listening to country and gospel music.

After he finished school, Albert served two years in the Army while stationed in Germany.  He worked several years at Ford Motor in Claycomo, Missouri.  Albert retired from 3M in Nevada, Missouri.

Albert had five children with his first wife Eden Fox; Jim Periman and wife Justine, Bill Periman and wife Nancy, Brenda Obert and husband Gary, Deborah Lantz and husband Bill, and Nancy Periman.  He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Juanita Cline; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends from all over.

Preceding him in death are his twin brother Elbert, a brother Robert, and his parents, Cecil and Veora Periman.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 3rd at 2 o’clock at the Taberville Cemetery in Taberville, MO where his mom, dad and twin brother are buried. We would love for you to join us, if possible, but we understand if you can’t make it. We would rather dad’s friends and family be safe, rather than come out to this service.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Food Pantry c/o Community Outreach in Nevada, MO.

May God bless each and everyone of you that met, knew, befriended, loved dad in his 89 years of life as we know it. Now we can celebrate the life he now knows and pray someday to know it too.
