News To Know: mass shooting exercise, KDOT winter preparation

MIAMI, Okla. – Local health institutes and Miami Public Schools teamed up today to put on a large-scale mock shooting exercise. Although only a drill, local law enforcement officers treated the situation as if it was real. PITTSBURG, Kan. – Leafy Green Farms and Community Green Farms are teaming up together to bring hydroponic farms to 10 area high schools. Each farm is hyper-organic and can grow up to 2 acres of produce a year, giving the schools and surrounding communities fresh produce throughout the year.

JOPLIN, Mo. –Liberty Utilities in Joplin continues its Liberty Elves campaign this year by including elders in the Christmas celebration.
