T-bone crash 7th and Duquesne

DUQUESNE, Mo. — Just before 6 a.m. Tues, Nov 22, 2022 reports of a crash at 7th and Duquesne Road alerted Jasper County E-911.

Duenweg Fire, METS ambulance, Duquesne Police responded.

Two vehicles had collided in a T-bone crash.

It took about 15 minutes to perform a door pop to get the driver out of the passenger car struck t-bone by an SUV. The driver was transported non-emergency to an area hospital.

METS ambulance transported the driver of the SUV to an area hospital non-emergency.

Duquesne Police Ofc Brian Wenberg tells us on the scene preliminary information shows a southbound passenger car failed to yield at a red light. It was struck t-bone by an SUV traveling westbound.

Comer’s Wrecker and Coats Towing removed the vehicles and debris from the crash scene.

The intersection was partially blocked westbound for about one hour. Traffic resumed normal flow just before 7 a.m.
