Monday blog: A mild week ahead and some storm chances -Chris

Good Monday morning and Happy Halloween! We’ve got perfect trick-or-treating weather for us today and into this evening. After the fog and clouds clear out we’ll be left with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies across the area and highs near 70°.

For your drive home, we’ve got that pleasant looking green light as we’re mostly clear and in the 60s with no strong winds pushing you around today.

For this evening, we dip down to the upper 40s for lows, but ahead of that, if you’ve got some trick-or-treating or other outdoor Halloween plans, we’re decent in the 50s through the evening under partly cloudy skies.

We are watching an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms as we head into the upcoming weekend. We’re watching the possibility of some strong to severe storms and some heavy rain. While we don’t need the severe weather, we do need the rain as we’re slowly starting to see improvements in the drought tracker.

A look at your 7-day forecast is below.
