Craig W. Potter, 63, of Pittsburg KS died on October 24, 2022 at his home in Pittsburg.

He was born on September 13, 1959 in Fort Scott, KS, the son of Sherman E. and Wilma Jean (Foss) Potter.

After graduating high school, Craig earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pittsburg State University. He went on to pursue a job at the Parsons State Hospital as a Mental Health Technician.

Craig is survived by 2 sons; Seth J. Potter and wife Stephanie with a baby girl on the way, Jordan L. Potter of Arma, KS, his significant other; Kathy Jo Wofford of Parsons, KS, brother; Roger A. Potter of Valley Center, KS, sister; Carol Dumford of Wichita, KS.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank his significant other Kathy and his caregiver Arlene Wesley, along with the Harry Hynes Hospice team for their amazing care.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg, KS.

The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the ALS Association and Harry Hynes Hospice.
