Gladys Marie Woodfill, 98, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Gladys entered this life on July 11, 1924 in Mooreland, Oklahoma, born to the late Curtis and Mabel (Smallwood) Parks. She was an avid reader, loved cleaning and working. She was an active longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri. She married L.G. “Jack” Woodfill on May 6, 1939 in Beaver, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1987.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Helen Marie Medley, Anna Lou VanGilder and son-in-law, Dale Medley; siblings, Curtis Parks, Jr., Helen Irene Parasich and Lillian Pauline Curtis; a great grandson, Kade Clark.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Jean Clark (Ferris) of Grove, Oklahoma and a son-in-law, Frank VanGilder of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 37 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandson; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Gladys.

Graveside Funeral Services for Gladys will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Tracy Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the First Baptist church in Pineville, Missouri. The family will receive friends at this time.
