Jon Clayton Greenfeather, 60, a resident of Baxter Springs, Kansas passed away at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Jon was born on March 27, 1962 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Carl Clayton and Paula (Moudy) Morris. He worked for years as a cook in resturants in the area. Jon lived in the Baxter, Miami area all of his life. He was a follower of the Lord, worked in resturants, worked as a bartender and at a flower shop at one time. Mr. Greenfeather was very proud of his Shawnee Tribe heritage. He loved his friends and family and was a loving person. Jon was preceded in passing by his parents and two brothers Stacy Greenfeather and Rick “Buck” Greenfeather.

Survivors include a brother Donnie Greenfeather of Vinita, and three sisters Carla Durborow of Miami, Donna Leeds and her husband Robert of Wyandotte and Bonyta Osburn of Wyandotte along with his nieces nephews and other family and friends.

Services are pending at this time. Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
