Thursday blog: Warmer temperatures into the weekend and some rain -Chris

Good Thursday morning to you all! We’re that much closer to the weekend and we’ve got a pretty decent one lined up for us.

For your drive home today, we do have a yellow light on that commute as we may see those southerly winds gusting upwards of 20mph, so do be aware of that. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies for the drive home and near 70°.

Allergy sufferers, a note for you this morning. Pollen counts are still low today at 2.7 out of 12,but they begin to rise and are forecast to reach an 8 out of 12 by Monday.

Going through the rest of today we’re almost perfect in terms of forecasted temperatures vs. where we should be this time of year. We begin with clear skies and then we’ll see some passing clouds later with a high of 71°.

Heading into tonight we’re almost right on the nose with the ‘normal’ temperature for this time of year. We’re partly cloudy with a low dipping down to around 47° so much better than where we have been.

As we head into this weekend we’re looking at increasing clouds and slightly increasing temperatures. We may see a stray late-day storm or shower on the Missouri side Sunday, otherwise, we’re mostly cloudy, 80° on Saturday and right around 83° on Sunday.

As we move into next week, we’ve got some good storm chances on Monday and maybe even some shower and storm chances by the end of next week.

Your long range forecast is below.
