VERNON CO., Mo. — On Saturday night, Missouri Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash occurred along MO-43, 2 miles north of Moundville, Missouri. The single-vehicle crash involved a 2015 Ford Fusion traveling south on MO-43, driven by 21-year-old Torie N. Thomas of Pittsburg, Kansas. MCDONALD CO., Mo. — McDonald County Missouri authorities issue an arrest warrant for a former pastor accused of rape. They’re looking for Raymond Lambert II of Washburn. Court documents show that he’s accused of raping a 10-year-old girl in 2013. She reported it this past August. The victim told investigators she was visiting a relative near Lambert’s residence when the rape occurred. You can read more about this story — just click here.
BARRY COUNTY, Mo. — Friday afternoon Corporal Sam Carpenter of the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirms a diver from the exploration group KISS Rebreathers Divers died while staging equipment for a deeper dive in days to come. He tells us preliminary information is that it was an equipment malfunction. However it could have been a medical issue. The patrol will take possession of the dive equipment as part of the death investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for sometime next week. The diver has been identified as Eric Hahn, 27, of Charlottesville, Virginia. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified. VERNON CO., Mo. — On Saturday afternoon, October 15, a vehicle involved in a hit and run in rural Vernon County was located by a Barton County Deputy in Lamar, Missouri. The suspect vehicle did not stop for the Deputy and fled. The Deputy initiated pursuit which the made its way north on I-49. Reported speeds up to 130 mph. At one point Deputies with Vernon County were forced to fire at the suspects vehicle. The pursuit continued in to Cedar County where the vehicle crashed and the driver fled on foot.
