Decreasing Clouds and Record Cold Snap

The upper air pattern is allowing for cold, dry air from Canada to drain right down the Plains into the 4states with low dewpoints and this will allow for record cold to occur over the next couple of days.

Lows tonight will be chilly with decreasing clouds.

Highs tomorrow will be significantly cooler than today on northerly winds.

Lows tomorrow night will break records with a hard freeze and frost likely especially in the colder wind free valleys.

Highs on Tuesday will not make it out of the 40’s with gusty north winds.
