Missouri to receive $95 million in funding for small businesses

JOPLIN, Mo. / CARL JUNCTION, Mo. – The state of Missouri is set to receive nearly 100 million dollars in funding for small businesses.

The funding will go towards:

  •  Pre-seed companies
  • Seed-stage companies
  • Venture-stage companies

“It’s very helpful to break down some barriers to entry because once you’re established, it’s easier to grow”, said Lance Kohmen, a local business owner.

In the past those wanting to start a business would have to find funding through loans, investors, and their own money. Now with the new funding on the way you can accomplish that dream of yours.

“Find out about what resources are available before you give up on that dream first”, said Doug Hunt, Joplin Chamber of Commerce.

the funding will be managed by Missouri Technology Corp, and to find more information click here.
