Michael Warren Elliott, 78, went peacefully to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 8, 2022 with his daughter and grandson by his side. He enjoyed his friends and family along with his many hobbies. He loved traveling, ranching, gardening, hunting, fishing, reading, amateur radio, and thoroughbred horse racing.

Mike was born on July 7, 1944 to Harold and Sarah Sue (Coffman)Elliott in Miami, OK. He graduated from Miami High School in 1962 and married the love of his life, Carolyn Sue French, Jan. 26,1964. He graduated from Oklahoma State Univ. in 1966 with a degree in electrical engineering. He then went on to have a long career with Brand Rex Company where he worked as a manager and made patents on cable materials for the company.

Michael is survived by his son-in-law and daughter, Darrell and Lynda Rice of Miami, OK; his brother-in-law and sister, Vernon and Susan Gladhill of Norman, OK; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Daphney Elliott of Cartwright, OK; and grandson Garrett Rice all of Miami, OK.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue French, parents and brother, Tom Elliott.

Celebration-of-Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1 pm officiated by Rev. Kenneth Linn at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Burial will immediately follow at the Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, OK. Sean Elliott, Royce Elliott, Cash Elliott, Zach Gladhill, Blake Gladhill and Ray Coffman will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, Oct. 14, from 6-8 pm. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
