Gusty winds today, a brief warm up, then some fall like temps

Good morning everyone, I hope your Thursday is off to a good start. We’re much quieter today than we were yesterday, however, we have increasing winds and because of that, a Red Flag Warning is in effect through 8:00 Thursday night. Outdoor burning is not recommended any any fires that develop will likely spread quickly.

You can see some of the project future gusts today. We’re looking at a sustained west wind pushing 20mph with gusts upwards of 35mph at times.

Aside from the breezy conditions, we have a beautiful day lined up for you. Very fall like, mostly clear skies and a high right around 69°.As we head into tonight, our winds die down a bit. We’ll hold onto mostly clear skies and get a bit on the chilly, but seasonable side, with our low dipping back to 47°.

Your weekend looks to be gorgeous as well. A bit warmer on Saturday with a high of 77° and we cool back down Sunday to 70°. We’ll be mostly cloudy otherwise. A stray shower can’t be ruled out Saturday, but otherwise, we look to remain dry.

We’ve got some time before our next rain chances get here which means the drought isn’t really going to improve much and the rain we got on Wednesday, will quickly be erased by long-term dry conditions.

Your long range forecast is below.
