Douglas James “Doug” Leatherman of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 59.
Doug was born May 17, 1963 in Miami, OK to Fred and Norma Ann (Carr) Leatherman. He grew up in the Picher, OK area and attended Picher-Cardin Schools, graduating in 1981. He lived and worked in Toelle, UT for 30 years before returning to Miami.
He worked for Flint Rock Products in Commerce, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Patrick Von Leatherman and 1 sister, Elizabeth Ann Brown.
Doug is survived by 1 brother, Michael Timothy Brown of Salado, TX.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Mickey Rogers will officiate. Interment will be in Rolston Cemetery, Monkey Island, OK. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
