PITTSBURG, Kan. – A $10,000 donation pays for upgrades at the Four Oaks Pickleball Courts in Pittsburg.
The City of Pittsburg hosted a special Chamber Coffee followed by a ribbon cutting today at the Courts. Kansas Crossing Casino donated money to help pay for a new pickleball net and resurfacing of the courts. Up to this point, they had been using a tennis net.

“At Kansas Crossing Casino we like to work hard and play hard,” said Kansas Crossing Casino General Manager Jeff McKain in April. “We believe that the pickleball courts will be a great addition to the community and are excited by the opportunity to help bring this to the Pittsburg area.”
The City of Pittsburg says pickleball is a “fun combination of badminton, ping-pong, and tennis.”
The courts are located at 910 Memorial Drive.
