Chou Hsien Chung, age 77 of Pittsburg, passed away peacefully at 2:03 AM on September 30, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi in Pittsburg
Born on November 16, 1944 in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, Chou was united in marriage with Shu Yuan Chung Wang in Taipei, Taiwan on June 2, 1974. They moved to Asuncion, Paraguay, in 1979, where they raised their family and ran a small business. After 30 years in Paraguay, they moved to the States, settling down in retirement in Pittsburg, Kansas. He was a supportive father, loving and caring husband and a great listener and teacher. He enjoyed watching his shows on his iPad, playing mahjong with family and friends, and happily listening to everyone around him gab away. Papa Chung will be greatly missed.
He is survived by one son, Peter Chung of Pittsburg; one daughter, Chilly Tzeng (husband, Jerry Tzeng) of Peoria, IL; one grandson, Elijah Tzeng;.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife (Shu Yuan Chung Wang) of 45 years and one brother, Jack Chang.
