Iris Darlene Karriman, age 85 Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022.
Iris was born July 14th, 1937 in Joplin, Missouri to the late union of Wilbert and Lucille Cox. Iris lived most of her life in the Joplin area, working at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in the respiratory therapy department for almost 20 years. She enjoyed being around her family.
For the last five years she was an assisted living resident of Spring River Christian Village. She passed away peacefully in the afternoon while sitting in her favorite recliner chair.
In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her two sons, Stephen Ray Murray and Brent Douglas Murray.
Iris is survived by her daughters Stephanie Kay Dunaway and Rayanna Sue Wilson, her grandchildren Angela Sue Thomas, Jennifer Wilson Hutchinson and Ryan Douglas Murray, plus eight great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Parker Mortuary.
