Good morning everyone, I hope you’re off to a great Thursday so far.
How about this rain? Something we need. It may not be a lot, but it does a lot for us.
First up, allergy sufferers, a little relief today and tomorrow as pollen counts drop to a 7.1 out of 12 today and a 7.0 out of 12 for tomorrow, their lowest levels in the past several days.
As we head through today – scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder will hang on through the early evening. Also, our high today is coming early as temperatures will gradually fall through the day under otherwise mostly cloudy skies.
Then, we hit the opposite effect tonight. Temperatures will gradually warm through the overnight. We’ll hit a low of 55° before temps begin to climb a bit heading into Friday morning. On Friday, we’ve got a chance of some scattered showers, maybe a rumble of thunder, but we’re drier and warmer as we head into the upper 80s tomorrow.
As mentioned, unfortunately we’re not looking at a ton of rain out of this system, though we need it. It brings temps and allergy counts down for a day, and brings anywhere from 1/10th to 1″ of rain across the region before we dry out for next week.
We get toasty again Saturday before temperatures begin to drop back into the 80s. Long range forecast is below.
