Two Joplin ministries work together to expand outreach

JOPLIN, Mo. – Good News Productions International and Christ in Youth agreed on the sale of GNPI’s domestic studio space to increase neighboring ministry CIY’s global outreach.

Officials say the 18,000-square-foot facility is one of the largest studios in the four-state area.

GNPI president, Mike Schrage said, “Now more than ever, the needs of a waiting world require collaboration and effective stewardship of physical resources to fulfill each organization’s vision.”

In pursuit of ministry goals, GNPI has decided to sell studio facilities to CIY to support the creation of relevant media locally and to help continue the expansion of its global footprint of media teams around the world.

CIY’s director of film, MD Neely, said, “Having a space we can inhabit daily will give our content team an incredible canvas to explore new and creative ways to communicate the Gospel visually for students. It’s a massive blessing for CIY.”

CIY Officials say they intend to use its new studio space immediately.
