I hope your week is going great so far. We have had near record highs each day and set a record again on Wednesday with a high of 99. A strong cold front has been dropping through and we will struggle to hit 70 on Thursday. Also, rain showers push in Thursday morning.
Light showers last into the early afternoon hours.
Most of the showers will be out of here by mid afternoon. But the clouds really stick around and our temps will be in the upper 60s to near 70.
Rainfall will be light, but we can use any we can get.
On Friday, a wave passes to our north. Any showers mainly stay near the KC metro, but our northern counties could get a few light showers.
However, by Friday afternoon, back near 90 degrees.
Long range forecast below.
