Christian Heady Foundation at King Jack Park in Webb City; 88 Strong Passing it On

NOTE: This is an all-day event. Food trucks and Bounce Houses continue while bands play from noon until dark.

WEBB CITY, Mo. — Young Christian Heady captured the hearts everyone during his battle against a rare form of aggressive cancer. Sadly he died a year ago.

Christian was 12 years old. He is the son Doug and Leslie Heady. Doug is KOAM’s Chief Meteorologist.

Through social media thousands experienced  Christian’s Journey firsthand on FB, IG, TIKTOK etc. (links below).

CHRISTIAN HEADY FOUNDATION

Inspired by the life of their son, Doug and Leslie created the Christian Heady Foundation to help other local families in their battle against childhood illnesses and disease.

The inaugural event: 88 Strong Passing It On is being held at King Jack Park in Webb City, Mo.

  • 5K RUN / 1 MILE FUN WALK
  • Kickball Tournament
  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Live! music, food trucks, and so much more!
