Webb City debuts ‘Made in Missouri’ book for local history buffs

WEBB CITY, Mo. – Webb City announces the debut of its new Historic Buildings in Downtown Webb City Booklet.

Officials say the Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) has awarded $775 to the Webb City Historical Society to help with the creation of the booklet.

Those interested in picking up the book will find it useful for self-guided walking tours of the City’s historic buildings and houses.

“Made in Missouri” will be at the Webb City Public Library, 101 South Liberty Street, this Saturday at 3:00 pm. “Made in Missouri” is an upbeat program of music and history that looks at some of the state’s best composers of ragtime and early blues, while exploring some of the conditions that brought this music to life.
