Wednesday Blog: Slowly warming up and a look down the road. -Doug

I hope your week has been going great so far!  Mine has been pretty good but busy of course.  The weather has been pretty good lately.  We have gotten at least some rain and we haven’t hit 100 in over a week.  Lets look at some summer stats.

We haven’t had a ton of rain this summer but at least more the past couple of weeks.  Wednesday looks great!

Thursday we add a degree or two.

Rain chances back in by the weekend.  At least scattered thunderstorms by Saturday.

The best chances for rain I think will be next Monday night and into Tuesday morning.

This should drop a cold front through and at least decent weather for a few days before we start to heat back up.  We have had an overall pattern change.  If you haven’t notice, rain has picked up a tick and temps have gone down a tick.  This is because we are not about 40% new Heady Pattern and about 60% old Heady Pattern.  S0 we definitely have that shift going which is great!  Here in 4 weeks the new HP will be completely set and we can start seeing what the next  year will be like.  Long range forecast is below.

Next Wednesday – Saturday: Warm but heating up late in the week.  Mainly dry.

September 4th-10th:  Mainly a warm week with thunderstorm chances to start the week.  Then mainly warm and dry the rest of the week.

September 11th-17th:  A warm first half of the week with a mild second half of the week.  Rain chances Tuesday through Thursday.

September 18th-24th: A warm first couple of days, then just a mild week.  Rain chances on Sunday and Monday.
