Shelly was born August 19, 1965 in Baxter Springs, KS to Bill and Deborah (Frogue) Greaves. She was a 1983 graduate of Miami High School. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing and was a nursing instructor at Franklin Tech for 20 years. She was a Registered Nurse and was currently working at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, OK. She was a member of First Christian Church in Miami, OK.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Greaves.
Shelly is survived by 1 son, Mason Hartley of Miami, OK, 2 daughters, Tara Sharp of Grove, OK and Jessica Smith and her husband Kaleb of Miami, OK, 2 sisters, Cristie Vaughn and Bee Greaves of Miami, OK, brother, Chris Horton of Grove, OK, step-sisters, Jennifer Jorgenson of Welch, OK and Melissa Boyce of Miami, OK and 6 grandchildren, Gavin Good, Averleigh Sharp, Kamdyn Sharp, Lakelin Hamilton, Kensleigh Smith and Kalvan Smith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at First Christian Church in Miami, OK with Pastor Leon Weece officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
